Over the years, I have held a variety of management, systems, business, accounting, and education positions with local and international companies. My roles have taken me to many areas within the U.S. as well as numerous countries within Europe in order to link with respective global communities on fine arts activities as well as business systems implementations. I have always taken pride in being able to blend the arts and sciences in all I do. I hold degrees with multiple majors and professional certification in Data Management and Strategy. My diverse background has included such things as managing multi-million dollar projects, performing for 20+ years with the Cleveland Orchestra at Severance and Carnegie halls and halls in England and Europe and being a church cantor for 30+ years. I have taught for over 35 years at the college/university level. In 2007 and 2010, I was recognized in Ohio Magazine for Excellence in Education for demonstrating excellence in scholarship, dedication to students and commitments to lifelong learning throughout Ohio. Over the years, I have been an adjunct professor at Notre Dame College for 25 years, instructor at Cuyahoga Community College, Tri-C Corporate College as well as a facilitator at Case Western Reserve University and area chair for the College of Humanities and Sciences at the University of Phoenix. In 2015, I received the Scholar of the Year award. In 2016, I was recipient of the University Area Chair/Lead Faculty Award.
