Betty's Story
"My Story" -- Wow! I've had a very full life! Prior to retiring in June of 2007, I had an amazing career in sales, as a Factory Rep/Manager. A lot of travel, which at times, had it's drawbacks, but definitely a challenging, rewarding and exciting career.
Married 46 years to my Teenage Sweetheart, who was a Naval Officer in the early years of our marriage. Eventually he decided on a civilian lifestyle to avoid all the moving that the miilitary demands. Working for Corporations, proved to be the same, regarding relocation! With the Navy we lived in New Jersey, Virginia and Key West, Florida. In the private sector, we lived in Central NJ, Coral Springs,FL, Nashville, TN, Southern CA and now in Northern CA. It's been quite an adventure for both of us!

Both are the love of our life! and last but not least, we are fontunate to have a great Son-in-law, whom we adore! They are the reason we retired to Northern CA.
Retirement is still something we're working on and trying to figure out. We started bowling again, after 35 something years! My Husband is still in search for that perfect fishing hole and is now contemplating joining a Fishing Club. I get involved with "Girl Stuff" like exercising with "Curves", playiing Bunco, Luncheons, Shopping, Chic Flicks and am open to anything that sounds like fun and entertaining or invigorating.
That pretty much sums it up -- a "Reader's Digest" version. As in all of our lives, there have been ups and downs, lots of laughs, occasional tears and some sorrows but, all in all, "Life is Good".
