Bev's Story
School
High school held a lot of wonderful memories for me. I met some fabulous people and I hope all of you are doing well in life. For myself, I'm now living in Taiwan, working as an English teacher. I never thought I'd ever end up here but it has been an amazing experience. It's funny how you draw on some of the simplist things from your past to help project you towards the future. I learned a lot about life in the last 22 years but the moments spent at Lucas were definately positive ones.

o, I'm now living and teaching in Taiwan. It's not what I studied in College but I love it just the same. I majored in the Arts yet, here I am, teaching English to children from ages 2-13. I especially love my kindergarten classes... so active yet, so sweet. I find teaching very rewarding and very frustrating at the same time. Life is so different here. The culture is continuously changing with the demands of the West but my students remain constant...they are fantastic! To anyone who's interested in teaching overseas, I highly recommend it.
