Beverley's Story
If I'm going to work somewhere, I need to have an education, understanding, and be a good listener to be able to deal with the day-to-day situations of aging.
I live in rural Arkansas and find my computer has become my contact with the outside world.
My biggest accomplishment has been to turn my tunnel vision, as a stay-at-home mother of four, into a rainbow of knowledge and understanding. This was done by earning both a BA & MA in Gerontology "the study of Aging"

s given me a greater appreciation of our elderly population and what they lived through.
Presently, I am interacting with a 95 year old lady who has Alzheimer's, her rememory of the 1 room school house, many of the old poems & songs and this has opened another world for me.
According to my youngest son, as he gets older, it seems I've become smarter.
Interested in learning how others deal with getting older, dealing with health / mental issues i.e. Alzheimer's and others ideas of positive Aging.
