Life
I have been working for the same company for 39 years in the household moving profession. I also do some travelling during the course of my employment. I am somewhat a cat rescuer and at the present have 11 cats. 3 ferals, 2 boarders, 1 permanently in the house and 5 in and out. They take up a good portion of y life. I have a small cemetery (unmarked) for the cats and kittens that just couldn't make it and I have found homes for several. I also collect strange, odd and curious cat figurines. I have several Russian blown glass, 2 from 2 English artists, a couple of Italian glass and 2 Jim shores. I am still doing needlework that I learned at St. John Vianney's (under pro...Expand for more
test at the time but now I am glad I had to learn to do it). I do mostly counted cross-stitch now because my eyesight is no as good as it was as a student, and I have to use magnifying lamps. I married once, and divorced in 1978. A year later, I had a significant other who passed away in 1997. There were no children. I raised my brothers and sister and decided then I was NOT the eternal earth mother. LOL. Have never regretted the decision. Other than that, I am quite satisfied with my life. I am rather a recluse so it is just me and my cats. My Cocker Spaniel passed away some time ago and until I retire completely, I will not have another dog.s This is my life in a nutshell.
