Beverly's Story
Life
First of all, if you are reading this bio sketch from the Chamberlain High (Tampa) Classmates link, I am not an alum, but the mother of Trish, Cheria and Lou Palmer, all of whom graduated from Chamberlain.
Now, back to my story:
My husband, Zeb and I have been married for almost 56 years. (YEP!) We have three children (two daughters and one son - all married, all parents) and are blessed with five grandchildren. The oldest grandson graduated from NC State with a degree in E.E. and is in Graduate School at Duke University majoring in Biomedical Engineering. The next three grandchildren (two girls and one boy) are in college. The youngest grandson is eight and a rising third grader. In 1994, Zeb and I retired to North Carolina from Tampa, Fl where we'd lived for over 25 years. Before that, we lived in Oswego, N.Y., Syracuse, N.Y., Athens, GA, and Ashland, KY. State Univ. of New York (Oswego), University of Tampa and University of South Florida. I've worked in both the private and public sectors either in Administration or Research. I've also worked as a grant writer/researcher as a sub-contractor. We like to travel, primarily in the United Kingdom with Wales a particular interest We have also enjoyed traveling throughout Ireland, both the Republic and Northern Ireland.
