Bill's Story
Life
After leaving Finneytown, I survived UMass with a degree in Chemistry and then worked at Amherst College. I completed Ph.Ds in Analytical Chemistry and Biochemistry at UC and joined the faculty at Duke University where I was productive and miserable for eight years. I did some semi-spectacular hi tech stuff, but now split my time between Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia and the University of the Virgin Islands. Yes, life can be good. I really love teaching.
I'm sure I'll add to this, but right now, I'm just happy (and very lucky) to be alive and things are good.
