William (Bill)'s Story
Bill] Burley was born and educated at Quinte and BCI in Belleville, Ontario. Following a "victory lap" year at Carleton, he joined a corporate sales internship program in Toronto followed later by immigration to the US. He grew as Airco’s Regional Sales Manager until his parting after five years to accept employment in the briskly growing computer industry. While completing his Bachelor of Science and Master's degrees at UC Davis and Phoenix at nights, Bill was recruited by Intel, where he rose to become a Global Front Line Manager, travelling mostly throughout Asia. end of 2012 and moved to Florida. Living on the water in both Crystal River, Florida and on the Otonabee River in Peterborough fills a childhood dream. Bill is a member of the US Coast Guard Auxiliary and continues to write humorous articles. His enjoyment for cooking evolved from a family of hunters, railroaders, and farmers where good foods were prepared by the men and women alike. This passion was recognized in February of 2022 when Amazon chose to publish and distribute a book of Bill's. Judy (Moore) White was heard to say, "I didn't know Bill even knew how to read let alone write."
