Life
Retired May 31, 2015 as Pastor of First Baptist Church of Weddington, NC. Weddington is a bedroom to Charlotte. Married to Zana Gray from Augusta in 1970. Have three sons born in '72, '79, and '82. Attended Valdosta State after high school, graduated from Albany Jr.College, Georgia College at Milledgeville and received M.Ed. from UGA. Did doctoral study at UGA and Georgia State. Have been a Law Enforcement Chaplain since 1999. Currently serving Union County Sheriff's Office, Pineville, NC Police Dept. and Carolinas Division of ATF. Also serve as the Chaplaincy Team Leader for North Carolina Baptist Men Disaster Relief Ministry.
Also serving as an interim Pastor for McKee Road Baptist Church in Charlotte.
We have 8 grandchildren and 2 great grands. Life is good!!
