Bill's Story
Life
Living on the Texas coast where I work operate a photography studio (redhummingbirdphoto.com) and write for the local newspaper. I published a book in 2003, Texas Cemeteries, which was published by University of Texas Press. I teach photography and flyfishing these days, hang out in an Airstream trailer and shoot as many photographs as time allows.

was the result of Arthur Machette and of history to Verna Berrong. Never have used much of that mechanical drawing, though.
My memory of Carter is how it looked early in the mornings as I walked past on one of many paper routes I had in that neighborhood, of the undersized track, the smell of the cafeteria before classes began and how beautiful Kathy Adams seemed the first time I ever saw her.
