Bill's Story
As if writing these small encapsulations of your life is not tedious enough, updating them is tedious to the point of protracted yawning.
Mona and I have moved into a large house that we rent for practically nothing (by today's standards). It has wood floors, 3 fire places, and oil heat. (Close friends will recognize the similarity to another large house in my past).
The boys (Tanner and Liam) are doing well. Tanner is chafing to go from his learner's permit to a real license. There is only insurance cost standing in the way. Liam is starting to hate being the youngest and shortest in our little family. I should also mention my found biological daughter, Liza, who is a magnificent woman living outside of Portland, OR, on the WA side of the Columbia River. She is an amazing photographer.
Mona has recently excelled in her jewelry and poetry. About a year ago she began helping at the local theater company for which I occasionally music-direct. She went from Box Office/Bartender ...Expand for more
to SM and Sound. Everyone at the theater thinks she's a goddess. This is mostly due to the goddess quality of not saying anything when the fur starts to fly.
Me? I am running in multiple directions. Some have actually used the term "Renaissance Man" in my presence. I think it is a severe and protracted case of ADD. I write, I shoot photos, I fix computers, I play and teach music. I have recently had a marvelous reuniting with Nancy Patton (Wendig).
Present time: recovering from totalling my car this past Sunday while vacationing in the mountains near Truckee, CA. Air bag trauma level. Ripped the bumper off the front end. Not hurt seriously: cuts and scrapes, mostly from the airbag. For those of you who haven't had one of those things blow on you: there is smoke involved. The car is NOT on fire. I panicked and hopped out of the car thinking of Hollywood firey conflagration. Sigh. Life continues.
If you've read this far you really have tenacity. Thanks! I will update within a decade.
