Billy grew up in upstate New York and started playing bass as a teen. He traded an old TEAC Tape deck for his first bass (a Gibson EBO) with childhood friend Andy Hilfiger and never looked back.
After traveling the world on the flight deck of the U.S.S. Constellation courtesy of Uncle Sam he landed in Dallas, Tx with some old hometown friends and cut his teeth playing the DFW circuit for a few years before moving to Florida...Expand for more

Since moving to Florida, Billy has played & toured incessantly.
His bands have included:
Blonde Ambition - An all-original alternative band (with iconic Tampa native, the late Jeff Wood on drums) that secured a record deal with Longview Records and played with acts like Molly Hatchet, The Georgia Satellites, Ginger Baker and the infamous Deloris Telescope.
Innocent Victim was a British Invasion Classic Rock / Glam Band that played throughout the Bay-area.
His band The Wake were in-demand Retro-80's darlings that played from one end of the state to the other.
With the band Knucklehead Billy opened for several notable groups including Sister Hazel, Tabitha's Secret (Matchbox 20), Morris Day and The Time, Sugar Ray, NRBQ, and The Village People, among others & was even profiled by Kurt Loder on MTV's "The Week in Rock".
During the "Swing" fad of the late 90's & early 2000's, Billy's band Bombed Out Cat became staples throughout the Southeast with regular trips to The Key's, Disney, Universal, The House Of Blues, and even did an extended stint at The MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
Billy has also played bass for original Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Inductee's, The Coasters.
Billy recently helped Florida Country/Southern Rock Icons Wiley Fox finish out their remaining gigs and can still be found sharing the stage with the Embry brothers on a regular basis. He is also currently playing bass for country artist Adrian Ray, freelancing as a bassist for hire & playing solo acoustic gigs throughout the Bay area.".
