Billy-jo's Story

Life My Kids I have a very beautiful 12-year-old daughter and a handsome 6-year-old son who suffers from PDD. If it were not for them I do not know where I would be today. They are the light of my life and they give me a reason to smile each day. Both kids are a lot like me. My daughter has a BIG attitude problem and my son is just as sh as ever! They both got the worst of my traits. lol My Job I care for children in my home. It is the best job there is. I love kids and have always wanted to work with then in some form. While I am providing childcare I will soon be attending college to advance my education to hopefully fall into a teaching position of elementary school aged children! I currently live in Maine but someday want to return to Connecticut. I have lived in Minnesota and during that time realized just how much I love the city and hate the country. I miss being able to go to a store at any time of night and not having to worry about traveling 30 miles to do so. I love being able to look out a window and see something new or exciting instead of a bunch of trees and the occasional wildlife. Most of all I miss walking out my door and knowing everyone around me instead of walking out my door and not knowing a single pe...Expand for more
rson because I am so far in the sticks that there is not a real way to meet people unless you want to travel 50 miles to a mall, go into town and hit the local bars, or jump online and hope to find someone in the local area. Whatever happend to going to the laundry mat or just walking down the road and meeting poeple? Geeze, I have been in the boonies for way too long. School I first attended school in New London at both Harbor School and the one by or on Crystal Avenue. After that I moved to Groton and spend the remaining 1st grade year until 6th grade at Claude Chester (I might add that I love and miss that school, especially Mr. Day!). After that it was Cutler Middle School. Geeze, I was only there for two years and the teachers could not wait to get rid of me. I guess I was a bit of a troublemaker! Then it was Fitch High for a half a year and then Grasso for about a quarter of a year. Yes, I proceeded to drop out entirely and have fun - or so I thought. I now regret that decision and wish to god I had of stopped screwing around and finished school. After moving to Maine I went and got my GED and attended college at the University of Maine. I never finished due to raising a daughter, working and caring for my elderly dad.
