Blaine's Story
BUHS class of '76! I miss Brawley High. I enjoyed my 4 years there. Graduated from IVC - AA 1978. Then graduated from the Univ of San Diego - BA 1980. I have very fond memories of my years at USD. Married wife of 40 years, Terry, in 1982. San Diego State - MA 1986 .
We have 4 children - Scott is an Architect in Lincoln, Nebraska, Valerie is a Dr. of Veterinarian Med in Sulphur Springs, Texas, Joella is a High School Art teacher and varsity volleyball and softball coach in Campbell, Texas. Our daughter Jacqueline passed away in 2020.

ucation. Started out as the 7-8th grade teacher at Sacred Heart School, then 3-5 teacher at Mulberry Elem, next, History and Science teacher at good old BUHS where I also coached football and wrestling. After that, for 35 years I served as the Supt/Principal at Magnolia Elem.
In the last 8 years I have published two books - The Learning Season, and The Learning Season - Comeback. On June 30, 2021 I retired.
Still live here - about 5 miles straight east of Brawley. Can't beat country living. The sunset pics are from my backyard. There is one overhead pic of my house and land.
It's truly amazing how fast 45 years can go by my friends!
