Blaise's Story

After graduating from California State University, Long Beach in the early 1980s with a BFA in Graphic Design, Blaise started his career at the legendary Cross Associates in Los Angeles. Eventually he entered LAs advertising scene as an art director, winning accolades for work on automotive, television and movie studio accounts. By the late 80s, Blaise moved south and joined San Diego's most creative advertising agency, Franklin & Associates. There he produced award-winning work for the San Diego Padres, the Union-Tribune, McDonalds, and the San Diego Convention Center to name a few. oncepts for numerous home builders, communications companies and the fashion industry. In the early 90s, Blaise left to start his own advertising and design business and in 2000, incorporated his business under the name BrainShine. His focus on advertising, design and new media has lead to increased success as the business continues to grow. Blaise has freelanced as a senior art director for all of San Diego's top agencies. He's also been a guest instructor at The Advertising Arts College (now the Art Institute), teaching classes in art direction, copywriting and design. And today he is the President and Creative Director of BrainShine with a diverse list of international clients.
