Blythe's Story
Most people from school know me as the basketball star. Without basketball I am not sure anyone would have known who I was. LOL But due to some unfortunate circumstances years ago, I was never able to fully realize my basketball career. Instead, I have spent the last 15 years working in the Information Technology field. I have done everything from Operations and Support to Network Administration. More recently I am doing Applications Development and Support for a company in downtown Oakland. and engaged to be married in 2010 to my beautiful French girlfriend Chloe. Chloe and I met a few years ago before I moved. We have endured all of the strains of a long distance relationship overseas. Happily, Chloe has recently moved to California and is now living with me while attending UC Berkeley for her PhD in Material Science and Engineering. Even with her being 100% French and me being a dumb little American from the Midwest, somehow we make it work! Yes, I'm gay and I'm sure most of you knew it.
