I've retired from the Air Force after 27 years, 4 months and 16 days. I met my wife when I was stationed in Mass for the first time. We have two boys and have been married for over 20 years. ch means I went on nuclear alert for 24 hours at a time. I was on alert during 9-11 and my 24 hour alert turned into 5 days. It was an interesting time to be in control of 200 nuclear ICBMs. Currently I'm the Chief of Human Resources at the Bedford VA Hospital. I love my job and it's a way to stay connected to the military.
