Life My stepdad was in the Navy and we moved to Chula Vista California Oct of 1961. I stayed with Don Peterson's family until the semester was ended. For what ever reason I was warmly accepted by my peers..(fresh blood?) I have life long friends from that last year and a half of High School experience. I was fortunate and dated quite a few girls the first 6 months of living in Chula Vista and settling to dating one girl my senior year in High School. Started playing guitar and sang in a garage band my last year of High School. Have kept it up and have been playing the guitar and singing for over 40 years. Have sang at over a hundred weddings and just recently sang at two of our daughter's weddings March 26th,(Morgan Rene and Jared) and June 5th, 2004 (Maryanne and Ben)My oldest Daughter and her husband(Lori Ann and Julian)marriedSept 1998 and Our oldest son (Chris and Andrea) married Dec 1999.We have 4 grandchildren. Our oldest son tells me in 20 years we could have 50 grandchildren.. I doubt that! However I do believe it could be 30 they all enjoyed being from a large family and at this point in time we are all close enough together to share birthdays and holidays together.My last two summers at home I worked at a 76 union gas station in Del Mar, Cal. and then joined ...Expand for more
