Bob's Story
Retired in 2010; Moved back to Sask and now live at Last Mountain Lake
Retired from Bayer Crop Science; Former Director of Marketing Cereal and Specialty Crops Canada
Since retirement I have worked part time as Ag Business & Product Development Consultant for new start up Agriculture business and as a Crop Consultant. Good to keep busy and still want to stay in the industry and so far have more work than I really wanted but guess that is good for now. nd excuses to head that way. I have two daughters one in Vancouver and one in Edmonton so travel that direction in my spare time. Still love any excuse to be outdoors even if it means walking a research field trial in this summer's 35 degree heat but much prefer fishing when time permits.
Dec/2017 - The last several years since retiring back home and building at Last Mountain Lake have flown by very quickly. I am just wrapping up a 3 year contract with an Ag Biological company at end of the month and then taking a break. Tired of travelling and not sure I want to do more but have lots of projects to keep me busy in my shop at the lake for the winter. Dragged my old Lund fishing boat into the shop for the winter which will keep me busy for awhile as it is 20 years old and requires some attention....plan on a bit more lake time this summer. Really enjoy lake life on the acreage at Last Mountain lake. Still think these South Sask Lakes are really under appreciated both winter and summer.
