Bob's Story
Born at an early age in the mysterious east, he was raised by apparently bedouins as he ended up in Red Deer for about 15 years. Various dedicated attempts were made by skilled practitioners of the educational arts, to "learn" him. But, as he has skull so thick that will be given to a bowling ball manufacturer upon him not requiring it further, will remain a hat rack until then. A stint in Red Deer, Mount Royal colleges. Sait, Api and others too numerous to mention and further investigation verified the density of cranial material. Several years of training by the ringmaster of the company that employed him resulted in a few bits of paper attesting to the general belief that he is not quite as senile as first appearance might indicate. Eventually the succumbed to feminine wiles and ended up as "Kathy's clown" a position occupied for 25 years until a piano tuner and divorce blindsided the naive trusting old fool. s mediocre abilities in several technologies. Hence being kept by a large oil company to apply his mediocrity along with that of many others in primary research pertaining to thermally driven heavy oil extraction and recovery. They put up with those antics for over thirty years, now they pay him to stay home. Which is good because after years of trying to wear out his carcass, he has managed to do so, that and a bit of help from dna and heredity. He has three kids, 2 boys and a girl, plus two grandkids. Spend his time sitting around mediating on the concept of "machinery has changed, the mechanics hasn't" and its applications to the non physical world. As a practicing ex-communicated Catholic (What a surprise, Sacred Heart School, St Thomas and all that) debating the issues with the chosen and sitting the back seat of the church singing along with the howls coming from the "crying room" are about all he is up to.
Radio, firearms and inventing the ultimate bizaretron are the hobbies he enjoys now, among other things, like taking improve memory courses, when remembered.
