I was totaly deaf when you knew me at schools...lol...now I have cochlear implant and I can hear now. My first sounds I was not familiar with was crickets...I have never heard them and it was weird to hear them crickets everywhere I can hear people calling me my name without having to bang on the floor or throw something ...Expand for more
at me to get my attention...It is really a miracle for cochlear implants and also cell phones where you can text messages...God bless those inventors...I was 25 years old when the TV first started having closed-caption...I have learned alot from TV when the closed-caption is on and it is almost like you are reading a book.
