Bobby's Story
Life
Been married 15 years now. We've got two boys (13 and 11). Without a doubt I've entered the 'summer season' of life and enjoying every moment with the family. Finally own a DW drumset (the Cadillac of drums)...still play all the time with Church. Own a house in Southern Cal and really enjoy living here.
School
To answer the question on biggest crush; I wasn't shy, they knew who they were ;) High School was a blast. Being a band geek kept me out of trouble, well at least the real serious kinds of trouble. The people that I came to know in those four years were fantastic people. I'm real happy that we get a time in our lives where later on we can reflect those years and remember our roots. I'd never want to go back and do it again...it was hard enough the first time through.
College
Wish I took College a little more serious. All I wanted to do at the time was party. Did a bunch of that.......of course looking back it's no biggie. Had a couple of pretty co...Expand for more
ol roomates. I think one guy was going to suffocate me with a pillow at one point.....other than that is was pretty smooth.
Had too many crazy party weekends to remember everything......
Workplace
In College I worked at a projectionist in a movie theater. When I moved back to Phoenix from Flagstaff I started working for the parents business. I've now been there for 17 years and am currently the General Manager. We've grown the company from just a handful of trucks to well over 70 trucks out on the road today. In fact by the time of the reunion that number will be over 100 trucks out on the road........talk about headaches!!!
Didn't really learn much in college about business. I guess you can say that I learned from the school of hard knox...... Still got along way to go......I've been lucky enough to have some pretty good people skills that have served me well. I guess I'd have to attribute those skills to my parents and maybe even Ed McQuaid in High School.....
