Since graduating from Emory in 2000, I worked as an editor at Art & Antiques, a national art magazine based out of Atlanta. After a year at the magazine, I spent another year doing restaurant public relations and event planning at Liz Lapidus PR in Atlanta. After a stint as a freelance writer/waitress/MCAT teacher for Princeton Review, I have finally found my place. I entered Emory School of Medicine in 2002. I will graduate with my M.D. in May 2006, then begin my Ophthalmology residency at Emory this July. So call me when you need your cataracts taken out! Or an eye lift, but we can talk about that at the 30-year reunion. I've been interning with the CNN medical unit with Dr. Sanjay Gupta, and hope to incorporate medical reporting and journalism into my practice.
