Brandi's Story
Life
After High School I attend Hinds Community College in Raymond, MS and graduated in 1998. On May 8, 1999 I married William Braddis Chalk at The Corners in Vicksburg. We currently live in Brandon, MS. My husband Brad is the Manager of NAPA in Byram, MS. I am working for the MS Dept of Rehab Service with the Office on Deaf and Hard of Hearing. Hope to hear from some of you. Please keep in touch!!!! age and fell in love with the language. I now have both my hearing and deaf culture and they are both totally DIFFERENT! I can communicate with hearing and deaf people and love it.
I also became involved in many activities with the deaf at HCC such as Volleyball, softball, flag football, deaf club, etc.
I met my husband while attending HCC from one of my best friends Michelle Tolbert. He learned sign language too and he can communicate with both my hearing and deaf friends! So now it is funny that we are married cuz lots of people think Brad is deaf but he is HEARING! hahaha
