Brenda's Story

I've been married to Ben(ji) Evans, SCHS Class of '83 for over 22 years. We have 2 daughters, one grandson, and one granddaughter. Ben served nearly 8 years in the Air Force. During that time we lived in the country of Panama, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, and Peru, Indiana. Ben is an air traffic controller. When he got out of the Air Force we stayed in Indiana for 4 more ye...Expand for more
ars, then he transferred to Huntington, West Virginia. We were in Huntington for just over 2 years, then we moved back to Salem and he commuted to Evansville, Indiana for 2 years, then his final transfer to St. Louis where he commuted for over 2 years until we finally moved to Missouri for him to have a shorter commute. We really like it here and plan on staying for a while.
