Brenda's Story

Life Lets see...I met my husband, Rick Coe, about a month after I graduated. He's four years older than I am and he graduated in 1985 from Reading High School. We married in April of 1990. We have three children. A son, Jason, born in September of 1991. I had a miscarriage in September of 1992. Another son, Austin, born in March of 1995. And a daughter, Brandi, born in August of 1997. We currently live in Cambria, Michigan and our children attend Reading Schools. Jason is in the 12th grade. Austin is in the 9th grade, and Brandi is in the 6th grade. We have a black lab, two shihapoos, a toy poodle, three cats, a russian tortoise, and a chinchilla. I work for Consumers Energy and I love my job. I'm a meter reader and I get a pretty good farmers tan in the summer (kinda hillbilly, I know..lol). My husband is a journeyman electrician/maintenance t...Expand for more

My oldest son will be graduating in 2010 from high school and it really makes me wonder how time can fly be so quickly. The older I get the more I realize how short and precious life is. I believe life is like a coin. You can spend it any way you wish, but you only spend it once. You have to make the most of what you have now because you never know what tomorrow will bring.
