In 1983, I met and married Army specialist Jennifer Yi and we have one adult daughter (a high school German teacher). We currently live in Colorado Springs.
Not one to procrastinate, it took me only 8 years to earn a Bachelors of Science degree in Electrical Engineering at Colorado Technical University, graduating on my 46th birthday.
In the time between my retirement and 1998, I worked as a fingerprint clerk, Russian teacher, assembly worker, truck driver, salesman, and computer repairer
My last position was as a system administrator trainer, working for Computer Sciences Corporation, and subcontracted to Lockheed Martin on the TBMCS program. Lots of travel, but the contract ended in September and I am engaged in a serious job search.
I speak Russian semi-fluently, trained at the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center. I am also self-taught in Korean and German.
