I was born on the south side of Chicago, and moved to Skokie Ill. at age 4.Went through school in Skokie. Edison ,Madison, Lincoln Jr. High,and Niles West High School,Have many good memories of growing up in Skokie. My mother was sick with cancer, and our family moved to Treasure Island Florida in 1967.Had a good time at school & living near the beach.Played lead guitar in a band & we had many gigs around town.I remember once, we opened up for the Blues Magoos at the National Guard Armory.I joined the track team at Boca Ciega & tied the school record for the half mile with a time of 1:59 at practice,but for some reason which I regret now, quit the team & got a job washing dishes at the Big Boy restaurant.
