Brian's Story
Life
Well after getting out of high school I went straight to work at Avis rent-a-car at DFW airport. During that time I attended Mountain View College for 3 years. In 1986 I married a girl from San Diego that I meant while working at the airport, her name is Kim. We decided to stay living in Euless. Growing tired of what I was doing I decided to change jobs and became a travel agent in 1988. We moved over to Bedford and lived there until 1990. Kim was offered a job out in Atlanta and so we moved to Georgia in May. I was lucky enough to be able to transfer with American Express Travel from Dallas to Atlanta. uburb of Atlanta. We lived there for 10 years. In 2000 I had a job offer that I accepted with InterContinental Hotels Group. In 2002 we decided to move out to Carrollton (about 15 miles west of Douglasville) and have a home built on the lake. It is so quiet and peaceful out there.
We never had kids but have raised miniature longhair dachshunds over the years, our babies. Move on up to 2008 and I am still working for IHG and love the company.
Over the years I was a travel agent I was fortunate to be able to travel all over the world. I've been all over Europe, most all the countries along the Pacific Rim and even down to New Zealand and Australia.
