Life
My wife and I have been all over the country now. After leaving Yakima for Indianapolis, where I met Carissa while attending Indiana University, we moved to North Carolina after I got a job as a sportswriter for a paper in Wilmington -- 15 minutes from the coast with only two weeks of real winter and 10 months of spring, summer and fall. ortunities were limited. So after Carissa graduated from nursing school we left the warmth and sun for the rain and clouds of Vancouver, Wash., where I'm covering the Portland Trail Blazers for the local paper and Carissa is working as an emergency room nurse for a nearby hospital. We just bought our first house, but still don't have kids. Just three cats and a dog. And that's all right for now.
