Brian's Story

Life For those from way back, I'll start from the beginning....born in Plymouth, NC(0-9yrs old); moved to Kennewick,WA(4-5th grade); moved to Tell City, IN(6-7th grade); moved to Georgetown, SC(8-9th grade); moved to Zachary, LA(10-12th grade) & had a genuinely great time at Zachary High; moved back to NC and graduated with a BA in Accounting from NCSU in 1993; worked for Arthur Andersen (think "Enron") for a couple of years as a tax consultant; started a business (that didn't go so well); went into real estate development/investment (that went pretty well); daytraded (that went p...Expand for more
retty well); wrote a book on politics and history in the U.S. (never was published, but it took me a long time to write); started, ran, and sold a gymnastics facility in NC from 2003-2006 (I don't know how I ended up doing that, but I had a blast.); moved to Calif. in 2006 (not to Beverly) got a job a nonprofit doing a number of things, but most notably I started a solar installation training program for low income job seekers (solar panels are hot in CA) .... and that's it for now, (resumes should be like this...one's whole life in one long sentence.)
