Brian's Story
Life
I have moved quite a bit since graduating from U of Md. in 1987. I have lived in Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Texas, Mississippi, Tennessee, and now Fargo, ND. I lived in a few places in Maryland, too, including Ocean City. I've had quite a few jobs, as well. I've been a radio news director at a couple of small stations in So. Md.; newspaper editor in Ocean City; a couple of trucking (office work) jobs during and right after college. For the past 14 years I've been working in the computer field in various capacities. I have traveled quite a bit for work to install and maintain these systems all over North America. My current job keeps me in ND, SD and Minn. I've visited every state except Idaho. I've lost touch with most folks from my high school/college days. But I've made a ton of new friends in many places around the country...Expand for more
. I've never been married...just not in the cards, I guess. Never made it "big," so to speak, but doing okay. Living a pretty simple life, trying to volunteer where I can, do new things and meet new people. Don't think I'll ever move back to the DC area permanently. It's just too crowded. I have learned that I am not a big city person. I like Fargo. It's not too big, not too small. The winters suck, but you can't have everything! I have turned out to be rather liberal in my outlook, different than when I started out. I read quite a bit, non-fiction mostly. I just try to learn new things, not really caring that much about the topic. I do hope to return for visits at some point, but have no plans at the moment (Apr. 09).
