Brian's Story

Life Biography Dr. Brian D. Prucey Pastor, Elm Grove Baptist Church Brian D. Prucey entered the United States Air Force after graduating with honors from Howland High School, Warren, Ohio, in 1977. He honorably retired as a Senior Master Sergeant in 1998 after nearly 22 years of service. His duty stations included Shaw Air Force Base, Sumter, South Carolina (1977-1979), Royal Air Force Base Upper Heyford, Oxfordshire, United Kingdom (1979-1983), England Air Force Base, Alexandria, Louisiana (1983-1992), and Barksdale Air Force Base, Bossier City, Louisiana (1992-1998). In September 1990, he deployed for seven months to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in support of Operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm. In June 1998, he redeployed for four months to Kuwait in support of Operation Southern Watch. na in 1989 with a Bachelor of General Studies degree with an emphasis in Business Administration. While at NSU, he was inducted into the National Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi. He received his Master of Divinity Degree with Biblical Languages from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in 2000. While at SWBTS Brian was inducted into the National Honor Society of Theta Alpha Kappa for Religious/Theological Studies. He completed his Doctor of Ministry degree with New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary in May 2008. Brian currently serves as the senior pastor of Elm Grove Baptist Church, Bossier City, Louisiana. He has previously served as interim pastor of Grace Baptist Fellowship (2008-2009), Bossier City, Louisiana, interim pastor of North Keithville Baptist Church (2006-2008), Keithville, Louisiana, senior pastor of Red River Baptist Church (2002-2005), Benton, Louisiana, senior pastor of Amiable Baptist Church, Glenmora, Louisiana (1988-1992), and Linwood Baptist Church, Shreveport, Louisiana (1995-2002). Brian has served in various leadership positions with the Northwest Louisiana Baptist Association including: Parliamentarian, Clerk, Financial Administration, Church Development Team Leader, Leadership Development Team Leader, Multi-housing Ministry Development and Administrative Council member. He is married to the former Carole Anne Padgett of Sumter, South Carolina. They make their home in Benton, Louisiana.
