Bridget's Story
Life
I'm currently living in the Crowsnest Pass , southern Alberta. I live in a community called Bellevue, the community which has the the only karaoke bar. I still love singing. Aside from my activities here I continue to go to the local bar and sing karaoke. Now that my daughter is 18yo she usually joins me at the bar to sing too.
I worked at the Royal Alexandra Hospital in Edmonton and worked there for 10 years. Once I quit I decided to go back to school and do some upgrading, to attend the University of Alberta from 1993 to 1995 and study Nursing. I was planning to get my Bsc. in Nursing. Unfortunately I was not able to complete my degree due to illness. So at this time I'm just taking care of myself, I eat healthy and workout to stay trim and fit. strolling down the halls of good old Victoria Comp. I also have my grad pic which I downloaded. In the meantime this pic is the most recent of me and I graduated from Vic in 1981. I have 6 children ranging in ages 29 to 10, 4 boys and 2 girls. The 4 oldest are on their own and my two youngest are living with their father in Edmonton. My boy's visit me every summer and I try to do things with them to keep them busy. It has been very hot at this time so we haven't been able to go and do a lot of things. I'm not able to go out in the sun for long periods of time because of my illness. When my gentleman friend returns here from Edmonton we plan to take them camping, swimming and fishing, of course I'm crossing my finger's that my boys will agree to it lol. So far my visit with them is entertaining and fun.
