Bridget's Story
Life
I am presently living in Brecksville, Ohio where we built a house a little over 18 years ago. The 4 kids are so close to being completely grown up that it is a little unnerving. Our oldest, Kevin, graduated from Boston College in May 2006 and is living and working in Boston for a management consulting firm. He loves his job and the city. He still attends the BC sporting events and even attends the Browns Backers (yes they do exist in Boston) gameday events. Allison is currently a junior at OU majoring in anthropology and art. She hopes to work in a museum after graduation. He big dream at the moment is to go abroad next fall to Italy. Colleen is a senior at Brecksville-Broadview Hts. High. g forward to college and playing soccer for a D. I school. Our youngest, Megan, is a freshman at BBHHS and had made the adjustment to high school quite easily. We need an hourly calendar just to keep up with her many social activities.
As for me, I am working as a special ed teacher at BBHHS. It's kind of nice to be on top of the goings on at the high school while having children there. This is my 5th year back in the classroom. Prior to returning in the fall of 2001, my husband and I owned and operated an indoor playcenter/specialty toy store (like Discovery Zone on a simpler scale) in Strongsville called Playtown. We also had a location in Mentor for a short time. The economy and 911 put an end to that 7-year run, but it was fun while it lasted. All in all, things are going quite well.
