Brittany's Story

Life I graduated with Highest Distinction from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2002 with a degree in Political Science and History. While at UNC, I enjoyed sorority life as a Kappa Kappa Gamma and spent my nights on "Top of the Hill," but luckily I still managed to snag a Phi Beta Kappa key. I immensely enjoyed my four years in the "Southern Part of Heaven," but I went to the dark side to attend law school down the road at Duke University. rder of the Coif. After law school, I clerked for a United States Court of Appeals judge in Memphis, Tennessee. I loved life in the delta, but my clerkship (unfortunately) lasted only one year. At the end of the year, I moved to Washington, D.C. to work for Kirkland & Ellis, LLP--a large firm where I am a litigation associate. But before I left Memphis, I met my fiance, C. Lacey Biles. We will start our married life in D.C. after our June 2009 wedding at Duke University Chapel and our reception at the Carolina Inn. Even though I have been horrible about staying in touch with people, I would love to hear from you!
