Life
How do you communicate what you have been up to for more than the last 30 years in a few sentences? I am the father of two teenage girls: Marisa (18) and Sinead (13). I am a pet owner; I have a Jack Russell terrier named, oddly enough, Terri. I reside, somewhat reluctantly, in Windsor, Ontario. Who ever guessed where you would live. I am planning to relocate in the near future to more exotic climes. I attended University, much to the astonishment of my Oakwood, McKay, Port High and Lockview teachers. In fact, I am now a University professor teaching in the areas of social justice, research, organizational and governmental behaviour. the U.S. States, France, Finland, Amsterdam, Hong Kong, and China. I will close by saying that I was genuinely touched when I serendipitously came across this website and saw Oakwood school listed. I have attended probably six elementary and secondary schools, three Universities and taught at four post-secondary institutions in Canada, my most precious educational memories still reside at Oakwood school...right next to the park where we picked acorns where the Scouts building was located, in front of those mysterious, scary, old woods behind the school just down the road from Schoen's corner store where we bought penny candy. What was that about everything I needed to learn about life I learned in elementary school?
