Bruce's Story
Life
Herodotus taught that you can't know of a man's life until's he's dead. Well though I'm pushing it, I'm not there yet.
I've spent a year in Vietnam; put together a Master's Degree from St. John's in Annapolis; taught in Prince Georges County for 32 years (currently teaching 7th grade Pre-Algebra); raised a family and saw it slip away because I was an idiot who spent too much time smoking dope and fantasizing about music. ising two children in Joppa and trying to see what the Lord has for us.
I spend a lot of time reading history, presently involved in the election of 1800 (Jefferson/Adams); and a lot of time serving my church as a caregroup leader. Oh yeah, there's also golf... in the summer, and if the price is right. Truth be told, I'm very much overweight (250 pounds) and I spend way too much time in the car.
Carole (the angel) and I are off to California next week for ten days wandering around wine country, Yosemite, and who knows where.
God is good. All the time.
