Bruce's Story
Graduated in 1964 from HHS. Studied architecture at A&M for two years then switched majors. Finally graduated with a BS in Psychology, minor in sociology in 1973. In the Aggie band (played snare drum) and cadet corps 4 years. Married 1st. in 1971, we had a daughter, Amber, 1975, and a son, Justin, 1978, both married now. Daughter & her husband, both Marines, have two boys. They are with Wycliff Bible translators preparing for service overseas. Justin, a programmer, married a Greek doctor and they live close to her parents in Greece. I married 2nd., Laura, 1983, and we have 3 daughters together, Lindsay, Whitney & Kelsey. They are gifted musicians, singers and artists, intelligent, and would be perfect except for the bad traits they inherited from me. s when Laura & I married - at the time the Houston economy collapsed. Drank all I could to age 30, then for spiritual reasons I threw in the towel. Have taken insulin shots about 18 years now but stay pretty active with remodeling projects around the house. I like to read, walk, watch Monk, Psych, Burn Notice, In Plain Sight, American idol. Eat Tex Mex or Italian food every chance I get. My parents retired to the Hill Country and we had some good times there before their deaths. My sister and her husband are teachers and have two married daughters and 1 grand baby. Laura travels to SA occasionally on business, loves it, and is trying to get me to move back there. Maybe one day soon I will run into some of my old friends and acquaintances there. If I do, you might not recognize me....I weigh 215 now not 155, and I've lost an inch in height. Still have my hair but it is grey turning white. What amazes me most is how fast the time has gone by. Best wishes to my former classmates.
