Bruce's Story
Life
A lot has changed sinceÂ74. Immediately following High School I went to TCJC for a year and a half. In Â76 I married my wife. I started Brown Trail School of Preaching in Â75 and completed the program in Â77. I graduated from Dallas Christian College in 1978. After graduation Debbie and I moved to Talihina Oklahoma so I could preach for the church of Christ. We moved to Pilot Point, Texas in Â80. While we were living in Pilot Point we adopted our first child Christina. She was 4 years old. I preached for the church in Pilot Point for 5 years and then we moved to Galveston in 1985 so I could preach for the Galveston church. While in Galveston we adopted our second daughter Vanessa when she was 11 months old. On my wifeÂs 32nd. Birthday she realized that we was pregnant with our third child David. David was born in 1988. He is a BOI (Born on the Island). In 1992 after seven years working in Galveston we moved to Whitney where I presently preach for the church of Christ. In 1994 my wife became pregnant with our fourth child named Emma. David and Emma were both a real shock to both of us. In 2000 Jared who was two came to live with us and has been with us ever since. SO, I HAVE 3 DAUGHTERS AND TWO SONS... The oldest is 28 and the youngest is 9.

preaching. In 1979 I taught Bible at Southeastern Oklahoma State College in Wilburton, Oklahoma. In 1983 I was a liaison officer for the Corp of Engineers. The Corp was building lake Ray Roberts in north Texas and had to relocate 8 cemeteries. I was hired to be buffer between Corp and the families of the decease. We would dig up the remains and relocate them to new cemetery. I was an EMT for 5 years. I have had my Real Estate License. In 2003 I received my Private Pilot Certificate and we presently own a Cessna 172. I was a continuous College Student until 1991.
Today, my oldest daughterÂs husband died on April 15, 2007 leaving her with a 3 year old son and on November 30, 2007 she gave birth to their second son. My second to the oldest daughter just graduated from Texas State Technical College with a degree in Biomed Equipment Technology. She will be getting married on January 19, 2008 to Matt Looker from Albany New York. They will be moving to New York. David, my oldest son, is a student at Harding University in Searcy, Ark. Emma is a 8th. Grader and Jared is a 4th. Grader. David, Emma and Jared have been homeschooled.
I have been blessed with a great wife. I have had the opportunity to go to Thailand twice, Hawaii twice and Israel once. God Has Been Good To Me Despite All My Imperfections.
