Military
I guess the Military is who I am... joined up 5 months after graduation... left Belleville and pretty much have been gone since.
Did a 4 year tour... out for 3 and back in to finish out the next 16 to retire from the US Air Force after 20 years of service.
I am working now on my memiors - it really seems this all needs to be put on paper. My time in the military made me who I am today... but it cost me alot as well. There is no one in this world who knows who I am... to those of you who knew me when we were young, know nothing of my time away from Belleville. Having a family myself... a wife (we are soon to be divorced), a step son whom I dearly love and is serving in the US Air Force and currently "in the sand box". A daughter whom I also love dearly - is learning to become a medical technitian. But even they do not know me - too much separation time serving our country... it has cost me dearly.
Don't get me wrong... I am proud to have served, doing my part in protecting our way of life. Serving in Desert Storm as a most notible assignment. It has cost me dearly - such is the plight of many of our men and women in uniform.
