Life Born - Catherine Louise Harris - in 1971 in the suburbs of Chicago. Moved to Rochester, MN in 1976. Moved to Lafayette, LA in 1982 (miserable 2 years, hated it there). Moved to Baton Rouge, LA in 1984. Still here. Dated a bunch of freaks (and a couple of nice guys) - lived with an alcoholic (almost married him), moved in with an alcoholic (who discovered she is a lesbian), swore off guys all together & met my husband. I was teaching ballroom dance at the time. He was a student (very talented, too). He quit taking lessons so he could ask me out. We got married in August 2000. We have our own house & 2 kitties - a 9 year old diabetic & a 3 year old hellion ("Miss Hiss"). We have no children. Both our fathers have passed away - both due to cancers. (God bless & keep them.) UPDATE: The diabetic kitty died. We got a new kitten. My Grandmother died. My brother had a baby (Tom went to Broadmoor too - class '87) & I'm pregnant - due in May 2006. UPDATE: My brother retired after 20 years with the US Navy. My Grandfather died. I had son #1 in May 2006 & son #2 in April 2008 (we are done having children).
