Calvin's Story
A retired US Army Colonel and corporate leader had a successful dual-tracked career. From being a joint staff, strategic level military commander, campaign planner in counter-insurgency, Special Forces operations, counter-threat finance, aviation operations, foreign military and police intelligence instructor, advisor and mentor to extensive corporate leadership and management experience, at multi-levels and functional positions, ranging from personnel management, procurement and, budgeting in the pharmaceutical sales, retail, marketing and logistics disciplines. A proven leader in change-management has resulted in equitable prioritization of employee workloads, improved productivity opportunities, job satisfaction and retention which consistently assured resources and multiple priorities remained synchronized to exceed goals and expectations.
Calvin is currently, employed by DynCorp International LLC as a contract mentor in Logistics Automation to the Afghan Ground Forces Command (AGFC) under the Ministry of Defense (MoD) and the Deputy Chief of Staff (DCOS). In addition to earning his BS in Biology from Morgan, currently holds a MS in Information Systems and Technology from the University of Central Texas and a MA in Education from National University of San Diego, CA. He was honored by Who'ÂÂs Who In American Universities during his pursuit of his Masters at the UNIV Central TX.
Cal's honorable Army service awards include the Army Legion of Merit, Bronze Star, Defense Meritorious Service Medal (2nd), Army Commendation and Achievement Medals, Army Reserve Components Achievement Medal (6th), Defense Joint Service Achievement Medal, Defense Global War On Terrorism Service Medal, National Defense Service Medal (3rd), NATO Service Medal, Armed Forces Reserve Ribbon w/Device (2nd), Korean Defense Service Ribbon, Operation Enduring Freedom Campaign Ribbon and the Florida Cross.
