Carl's Story

Life After Interlachen, I went to SJRCC and graduated from there in 1990. I went on to the University of Florida (Go Gators!) and also worked off and on in Jacksonville until I finished my environmental engineering degree in 1995. I was commissioned as an officer in the US Air Force Biomedical Science Corps and went active in 1996. My first assignment was at Shaw AFB, SC, completed some more training in San Antonio, TX and then went to RAF Lakenheath, England 1998-2000. Europe was fantastic and I hope to go back to work at some of our US Air bases in Germany. I pinned-on Captain last year and I am currently working on my Master's in...Expand for more
engineering at Lamar University, Texas. I will complete this program in 18 months and go back to another Air Force base. Who knows where? The military lifestyle is great and I have enjoyed seeing some of the world. You can contact me at chuckchampion at afgimail.com UPDATE 2008: I've married and now have two lovely daughters since I was in Texas. I'm stationed at a fighter wing airbase in Idaho working as a science officer at the rank of Major. It has been busy with overseas deployments and I will not be able to make the reunion due to our operations. Best wishes to everyone and I enjoy hearing from my classmates. Take care, -Carl
