Carl's Story
Married to (Kristen), and we also have 3 foster children. Gavin(10) and Natalie(5) are brother and sister. and Alannah(6). I have been involved in snowmobile racing for much of my adult life. My racing events have been on ESPN, speedworld, and the Discovery Channel. I have done consulting work for ESPN, NBC sports and ABC sports (racing). I have been fortunate to travel to many places. Every Province in Canada, Finland, UK, Iceland, and every state but Hawaii. I have had my pilots license, but a mini stroke has grounded me. Life has been good. I did lose my father in March of "06". For 30 years he worked in Nevada testing military vehicles (tanks). He lived for 75 years and 5 days and enjoyed everything. In the last 10 years i have worked in Surveillance for Casino's in Nevada and Oregon. Trained to catch card counters and people who ripoff the casino...Expand for more
and our guests. Over my adult years i have also worked at 5 star resorts in the Guest services dept's. I played fastpitch and slow pitch softball for 33 year. I have coached High school football, track and girls fastpitch. The girls high school fastpitch team i coached (Bozeman Sr High, MT.) played to a second place finsh in the state championship. Closer to Home(wisconsin) I coached womens fastpaitch at UW-River Falls for 3 years. There are some things i would change if i had life to do over again, but on the most part i have enjoyed what i have done. If it makes you happy do it, because no one will remember you 50 years from now anyway...If you don't believe me just ask a 10 year old who JFK is. :)
Beati sumus qui ipsos deridere possumus nam ludi numquam desinemus. Blessed are we who can laugh at ourselves for we shall never cease to be amused.
