Carla's Story
Carla is from Phoenix, Arizona. She is married to Robert Moore for 48 years now. Her schools include P. T. Coe Elementary School, Phoenix Christian high school, Phoenix Community College (Nursing), continuing nursing at various community colleges. She most recently worked at Peoria Unified School District as a school nurse from which she retired June 2018.
Music Carla likes includes Classical, 40’s, 50’s, 60’s, everything except rap. Books she likes include the Classics, Harry Potter, A Good Spy Novel, historic fiction and non-fiction. Movies she likes include Indiana Jones, Star Wars, Gone With the Wind (actually too many to list). TV shows she likes include Mystery Theater, NCIS, anything PBS (love English/Australian TV shows.

een the most challenging phase of my career. I was a school nurse for 16 years, retired 2018. I have really enjoyed nursing and have met many interesting people over the years and learned so much along the way.
We have traveled a bit over the years. We've been to Hawaii (some of you may remember the never ending slide show in 7th or 8th grade from my first visit to Hawaii) several times. In my perfect world I would be living there now. We have also been to Germany, Austria, stepped into France briefly, Venice, Ukraine, England, Canada and much of the U.S. We love to travel.
We have 3 "kids"--Christopher, who is a Senior Master Chief in the Navy and is married to Hiroyo (from Japan) and has 2 children, Kaito, 13 and Ria, 11. Kristen, who gave us our 2 oldest grandkids, Lee, 25 & Rachel, 22. Emily, who has one child, Trapper, 21 months.
Robert and I moved just outside of Wickenburg almost 15 years ago and love living in the "country". We enjoy the beautiful desert and the peace we experience here. We spend a lot of time outside when it is not too hot or too snakey.
That is pretty much my life in a nutshell. Looking forward to hearing about those of you that I have not seen in many years.
