Life
My husband and I have been married for nineteen years. Mike is a middle school science and history teacher. I am a professor at Texas A&M.
School
I owe a lot to Bob Aguilar and Jenny Warmer who were high school teachers at Montgomery High School. They inspired me to go into education!
College

ficult time deciding what I wanted to be when I grew up. Now, I have a doctoral degree in Early Childhood Education. However, that doesn't mean I won't keep going to school. In fact, I begin my second doctoral program in Cognitive Psychology next January.
Workplace
I have loved my years of preschool and kindergarten teaching, but I have to say that being a professor is great! I love Texas A&M!
