Carlos's Story
Life
Hi everyone! Not sure where my old school chums are or what they are doing but here is a quick synopsis of what I've been up to throughout the years: Academically, I graduated Syracuse University (go Orangemen!) in 1991 with an electrical engineering degree and a math minor then got a job working for CBS and NBC (at the same time! weird, huh?). After my stint with the tv networks I hopped on board in the financial sector for a while. After 7 years of working on Wall St I went back to school where I earned MBA degrees in both Int'l Management Consulting and MIS/Communication Systems. I'm currently living in NYC and travel whenever I get a chance.
Professionally, I worked in various (and diverse) sectors: Television (NBC and CBS), Banking (Citigroup, Prudential) and a few years in Consulting (American Management Systems). I am currently at Cit...Expand for more
igroup as a Sr. VP managing a global implementation team in the investment banking division. Definitely keeps me busy...
Ok what else? On the personal front, I am not married or have kids ...yet. I love to travel and am fortunate enough to have a job that takes me around the globe. I've been all over Asia (Singapore, Hong Kong, Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, China and Japan), parts of Europe (London, France, and Germany) and a smattering of South America. I haven't been to Africa yet but am definitely looking to do a Safari one of these years.
My interests include the Global Markets (how money works is really interesting!), Knowledge Management, Racquetball, Martial Arts (Japanese Seido Style), Dining, Running, Museums, Live Concerts...and the Beach!
That's it for now. Hope to hear from you! (and you can look me up on Facebook as well).
Ciao!
