Carmen's Story
As you can see from my long list of schools, we moved around a lot. It didn't really give me an opportunity to bond with life-long friends. Luckily I had my sister, Lupe, to hang out with regardless of what new school we had to face. We made good friends along the way at each and every jr high and high school that we attended. I hope to re-connect with some of them.
There are a couple of people from my past who I'd most like to see again. One is Oscar I forgot his last name, because we had a special bond in 7th grade at Garvey Jr. High and the other is Sonny Sanchez, also at Garvey Jr. High. Since I was a fly by night student at 4 high schools.....a lot of you may not remember me. That's okay, I was shy and quiet and of course hung out with my peeps. I have definitely changed and blossomed to a confident out-going happy go lucky person. By the way, I did end up graduating from Alhambra High.
Currently I work in Montebello as a Human Resources Specialist. I am married and have 4 children, 3 boys from my previous marriage and 1 girl with my husband. Gabriel and I have been married 6 years and we've been together for 9.
My hobbies are scrapbooking, reading, hanging out with friends and of course spending time with my family. I enjoy going out to karoake bars with my sis and friends and overall meeting new people.
