Carol's Story
My life is busy working to support myself and maintaining my own home in Plano, Texas. My son is grown and I'm divorced. I have reached a time in my life when I wish there were more; perhaps someone special to go out to dinner or a movie with or just take a walk in the park from time to time, or someone to perhaps do some traveling with. There is so much of this country I have not seen. I feel I am still young and vibrant to follow some of my dreams.
I work in my garden or watch something funny on TV. If I am really stressed, I call my sister.
The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is David Welch, because I had a crush on him. We were in home room together and would play strip polka (the clean version) during study hall. It was a blast.
I love animals. Hate reality shows. Enjoy a good mystery/thriller movie or book.
If I could improve my home, I'd remodel my kitchen and add on a deck. My dream home would be a cape by the beach.
About children: That you ...Expand for more
can love them and want them with you always, but that you should let them go to make their own way in life, even if it doesn't agree with your plans and dreams for them.
If I won $100 million, I'd give a portion of it to my family members, then spend the rest on helping out friends, donating to charities and quiting my job and creating a comfortable life for myself..
My best friend would tell you I'm sweet, but people who don't know me very well would probably describe me as quiet.
I try to dress young, but not look like I was in my twenties. That wouldn't be appropriate.
I share my home with my cat, Hank, I recently adopted him. He's adjusting to his new home.
When my husband and I had a training and consulting business, one of the classes he was teaching gave me an award for making them comfortable and setting up refreshments for them every class, even doing the baking myself.
In 10 years, I hope to be Retired. I'm going to get there by making smart financial decisions .
